It is located on the northwestern side of India. Rajasthan is the 7th largest state by population in India. Neighboring states of Rajasthan are Panjab to the north, Hariyana and Uttar Pradesh to the northeast, Madhya Pradesh to the southeast, and Gujarat to the southwest.
