Ingredients


Rice( 500 gm)

oil (1 tablespoon) 

Groundnuts (2 tablespoons)

Mustard seed (1/2 teaspoon)

Curry leaves (2-3)

Tamarind pest(30gm)

Channa dal (1 teaspoon)

Turmeric powder (1 teaspoon)

Chopped green chilies (1 tablespoon)

chopped ginger, garlic (2 tablespoons) 

1 to 2 dry Chilies

Salt to taste


How to Cook?

1. Tamarind pest takes one cup water, then add tamarind, after 5 minutes add salt and grind it.

 

2. Take some water in a pot and add 500 rice, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder to it. Then boil it for 5 to 10 minutes. After that strain the rice from the water. Then let the rice cool a little. 


4. For the tempering, Now take the nonstick pan, then heat the 1 tablespoon oil, add mustard seed, curry leaves, dry 1 to 2 chilies, Groundnuts


5. After 3 to 4 sec add chopped ginger & garlic, chopped green chilies.mix it well. and after 2 to 3 minutes add boiled rice then add tamarind pest mix it well.


6. serve hot with sambar.
